Revision Replacement

As the name suggests, Revision Replacement is all about reviewing the past replacement procedure, if such need arises.
Generally, joints replacements wear out very slowly but the problem does progress over the years. The symptoms may take about 25 to 30 years after the surgery to surface. In such case, revision replacement becomes necessary.

The procedure helps in determining if a part of all of previous replacement needs to be revised or replaced. Depending on the condition, the need could involve minor adjustments to detailed operations replacing significant parts of the joint.
